Account Deletion

Delete Your Account

How to delete your sign-in account and related data for “Shinsen Memo” (真戦メモ) on iOS and Android. The app is provided by Somedea LLC (合同会社Somedea).

Delete in the App

The steps are the same on iOS and Android.

  1. While signed in with the account you want to delete, open “Settings” in the app.
  2. In the “Account” section, select “Account Management”.
  3. At the bottom of the Cloud Backup screen, select “Delete Account”.
  4. Review “What Is Deleted and What Remains”, check “I reviewed the details and understand that account deletion cannot be undone”, then select “Review Account Deletion”.
  5. In the confirmation dialog, select “Delete Account” and verify your identity using the method shown (Google or Apple). Deletion is then complete.

A deleted account and its cloud backup cannot be restored. App Store and Google Play subscriptions are not cancelled automatically; cancel them in the respective store if needed.

Request Deletion Without the App

If you cannot use the app, email support@somedea.com with the following information:

  • Subject: Account deletion request
  • The email address of the Google account or Apple ID you used to sign in
  • Your device platform (iOS or Android)
  • If available, your user ID (it is filled in automatically when you open “Contact” in the app while signed in)

For verification, please send the email from the address of the account you used to sign in. If you write from a different address, we may ask for additional confirmation. After verification, we will delete the same data that in-app deletion removes and notify you by email when it is complete.

Data That Is Deleted

  • Your sign-in account (the Firebase Authentication account, email address, display name, and Google or Apple link)
  • The cloud backup for this account (backup metadata and backup data stored on our servers)
  • Links between subscriptions and your account stored on the Provider’s servers

Data That Remains and Retention Periods

  • Deleted account identifier and deletion date: retained for 30 days to safely retry deletion and prevent deleted cloud data from being restored, then deleted automatically.
  • Data on your device: formations, simulation history, battle reports, and settings stored on your device are not deleted.
  • Subscriptions and purchase records: App Store and Google Play subscriptions are not cancelled automatically. Purchase records are kept by Apple or Google under their own policies.
  • Anonymous ranking and battle-adoption data: device-based anonymous data that is not linked to your sign-in account, so it is not deleted when you delete your account. This data is sent automatically when you run simulations eligible for ranking aggregation or record battle reports, and the app does not offer separate settings to stop it. To stop future submissions, avoid using these features or delete the app. Data stored on our servers is deleted automatically 180 days after it is stored. Values already included in anonymous aggregates are not deleted individually per contributor.
  • Battle report data: data sent when recording battle reports is managed with a device-based anonymous ID rather than your account, and is deleted automatically 90 days after submission.
  • Images sent when battle report recognition fails: images sent while “Send Failed Recognition Images” is allowed are managed with a device-based anonymous ID and deleted automatically after 30 days.
  • Support records: messages already sent through the contact form or by email are not deleted automatically. Contact us if you want them deleted.
  • Usage analytics and crash reports: information collected through Google Firebase is deleted according to Google’s retention settings.

To delete only part of your data without deleting your account, contact support@somedea.com. Data managed with a device-based anonymous ID may not be identifiable.
